Working moms are usually under appreciated. But they don’t mind. What’s important to them is that they get things done. They juggle three or sometimes five things at the same time, but then again, they don’t mind. Working moms are indeed SuperMoms!
Here are a few ways Mom managed to find balance:
Schedule daily ‘me’ time. One of the best things you can do to find balance is make time for you.
Set aside time on a daily basis that is just for you, even if it is only half an hour.
Lists are your best friend. Write down everything that needs to get done and check it off as you go. Calendar the kids’ school and sports events mark them off as you go. It is important to write it down as a visual reminder and even more satisfying when you mark it done.
Make a chore wheel. Give the children different chores each day. Putting the kids on a schedule of daily chores lightens your load and teaches a valuable lesson about the importance of everyone doing their part.
Schedule date nights with your spouse. Whether you go out for a night, or your night consists of pajamas, popcorn and a show after the kids have gone to bed, it’s important to have ‘we’ time. The important thing is that you do it together in an attentive way, paying attention to each other.
Exercise. Exercise is a great stress reliever and an energy booster. It can be as simple as a 30 minute walk on your lunch break, or after work with the kids.
